Glews Garage in Goole has launched a new website which aims to improve their online presence and attract customers who are increasingly making purchasing decisions after online research.

Glews appointed Selby firm Autoweb to design and develop their new site which was launched this week.


Jane Richardson, Marketing Manager at Glews said “we spoke to a number of automotive web developers but chose Autoweb because we felt they had the tools and expertise to build the website we wanted, we were particularly impressed with their expertise in building mobile responsive sites.  We have seen a 61% growth in visits to our website coming from these devices in the last year, therefore it is increasingly important to provide the customer with a great online experience”


Peter Fairfield, Autoweb Founder and Director, said “we were delighted to work with Glews on their new website.   We have worked hard to create a bespoke website that will put them in a good position to capture the attention of their online audience.  As well as website design we have deployed our expertise in SEO and mobile responsive design to give them a site that will increase visits to their website and generate an uplift in sales enquiries.”

The new website includes sections for both new and used cars each vehicle page has a full technical specification photographs and videos. Visitors to the site will also be able to compare prices for finance with a simple finance calculator.  The website also has more details about the franchised After Sales at Glews and customers will be able to find more information about fixed price servicing, Service Payment plans and Accessories.  The Glews’ Paint, Accident & Repair Centre also gets its own page with pictures and information about the recent repair and restoration projects the team have completed.  The new website has simple forms to help visitors book a service & MOT online, get a finance quote and enquire about part exchange.  There is also a review section managed by Feefo which delivers genuine customer feedback on Glews products and services.
