Glews Garage and Motability – Motoring Made Easy
How the Motability Car Scheme works?
The Motability Scheme allows disabled people to use their Government funded motability allowances to obtain a new car. If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement then you are entitled to participate in Motability scheme. Through Motability, you simply turn part or all of your allowance into the car of your choice. There are no other checks or assessments.
There are many benefits to the Motability Contract Hire Scheme and that’s why 95% of customers choose this option.
- A new car of your choice every three years and over 3000 to choose from
- 60,000 mileage allowance over 3 years
- Insurance and personal accident cover
- Servicing and maintenance
- Full breakdown assistance from RAC
- Free replacement tyres
- Window or windscreen replacement at no extra cost.
- Nominate up to two drivers if you do not drive
- Wide range of adaptations to your car at no extra cost
Some customers may prefer to buy their own car, in which case our Hire Purchase scheme might be for you. If you choose to buy a car with a Hire Purchase agreement, it is normally expected that you will be receiving the allowance for the full length of the agreement, and you will be responsible for organising your own insurance, breakdown assistance, tax and servicing/repairs. Please contact us to find out more about the Motability Hire Purchase Rates.
