Glews pumpkin competition winner
It was a spooky night at Glews this Halloween. Over 40 people entered the Pumpkin competition run by the Ghoul based motor dealers and the entries were of a frighteningly high standard.
The Glews sales team looked scarier than usual in their Halloween costumes and trick or treaters had chance to fill up their goody bags with devilishly wicked treats. Several of the children who brought pumpkins were also brave enough to enter the witches grotto in the Peugeot showroom.
Graham Andrews, dealership director said, “everyone really got into the “spirit” of Halloween and we had a lot of fun.
Mrs Christine Richardson and daughter Jane Richardson deliberated over the entries and managed to choose an overall winner which was the Disco Diva carved by Courtney Davis . Courtney won a family pass for 4 to the Deep in Hull and a goody bag of Halloween treats. The runners up were Sophie, Paige and Baileigh Palmer and Ester Bamford who won Halloween goody bags.
Mr Andrews continued “ we want to thank everyone who took the time to enter the competition, it is clear that a lot of hard work went into the pumpkins and we were very impressed with the standard of the entries”
