Birthday Surprise at Glews
The Dunn family from York recently took advantage of the Glews January sale when they were looking to buy a car as a surprise 18th Birthday for their Granddaughter Lucy.
Lucy Dunn came down to the Rawcliffe Road Vauxhall dealership with her Mother and Grandfather and Glews sales executive Richard Maddison presented her with the car.
Lucy said ”I was really shocked when I walked in to the showroom and saw this gleaming red car with balloons tied to it.”
Lucy’s Grandfather bought the car a week before having seen the car on the internet. Sales Manager Adrian MacLauchlan said, “we were told the car was being bought as a surprise 18th birthday present so could we do something a little extra special on the day of collection.”
He continued “We were very happy to do something different for Lucy as we know what a special moment getting your first car is. It was wonderful to see the expression on Lucy’s face when the surprise was revealed. “
